Dell Technologies

Been delivering supply chain training to multiple groups within Dell including their Supply Chain Development Program (SCDP) and Supply Chain Immersion Program (SCIP) for almost ten years.  This work involves four sessions annually per cohort in the U.S., Asia and Europe and consists of supply chain content as well as supply chain data analysis and creating concise and meaningful presentations from data.

United Airlines

Developing supply chain training for multiple levels in the organization from executives to warehouse order pickers.  An overall supply chain assessment was first completed to identify areas of opportunity and key areas for training.

Pratt and Whitney

Delivered supply chain training to groups of both domestic and international airlines.

IKEA

Delivered a supply chain training course to IKEA's US supply chain managers.

Accenture
Developed several online supply chain training courses for both the Supply Chain Academy as well as the Finance Academy. Also delivered a supply chain data analysis course to Accenture consultants.

ADCO Products
Completed a warehouse operations efficiency analysis and assisted in redesigning the warehouse to improve utilization for this chemical products manufacturer.

Amazon
Completed a distribution network strategy project to select the best locations for new distribution centers (in addition to the original locations of Seattle, WA and New Castle, DE. This allowed Amazon to significantly increase their service levels to customers across the United States.

Aramark Uniform Services
Completed a supply chain strategy assessment to identify the most opportune areas to increase efficiency and lower cost. Particularly, significant inventory reduction opportunities were identified along with supply chain organizational improvements.

AT&T Wireless (formerly Cingular Wireless)

Completed a transportation cost analysis to determine the viability of additional distribution facilities. Several factors were taken into consideration including customer service requirements, site location choices and customer demand patterns.

Chatsworth Products, Inc.

Performed an entire transformation from an operational orientation to a total supply chain orientation.  Advised senior management on strategies to leverage supply chain best practices from procurement through transportation.  Completed implementation of a new freight program including automated freight management (TMS selection and implementation), audit and payment in three months.  Developed the supply chain organizational design including all relevant job descriptions. Created outsourcing governance approval and management process inclusive of team members, responsibilities and accompanying tasks. 

Elkay Products

Completed two distribution network strategy projects for this major residential cabinet and plumbing products manufacturer.

La Petite Academy

Streamlined the vendor management function including accounts payable and purchasing of this national day care center chain. We identified significant opportunities to reduce costs and continually improve relationships with the supplier base as well as end customers. Also included were suggested changes to the vendor management organization including job descriptions and responsibilities.

LifeCell

Completed a warehouse design and inventory strategy for this life products company.

Lowe’s Companies

Helped this large home improvement chain improve the strategies relating to their global importing and ordering processes.  Worked across all facets of the business to allow inventory flexibility and minimization while hitting required service levels.

Majestic Steel

Helped this mid-market manufacturer and distributor of steel products with their supply chain strategy, particularly transportation operations, transportation planning and inventory control.

Metasis

Completed an import and export process evaluation and development for Medicis, a medical products manufacturer.

Party City

Completed a SKU and vendor analysis to recommend rationalization to improve procurement efficiencies.

Phycal

Worked with this biofuels company to develop supply chain cost models for an ethanol plant in Central America.

Post Consumer Brands (formerly Malt-O-Meal and MOM Brands)

Helped craft overall supply chain strategy including distribution network modeling, customer service segmentation and inventory optimization and planning for this major manufacturer of breakfast foods. Also completed supply chain continuity plans requiring the creation of coordination plans across all supply chain and other corporate departments to deal with potential supply chain disruptions. 

Office Depot

We created a supply management department to support the newly formed Business Services Division. This included a supply chain organizational audit resulting in the creation of four new job types including vendor management and supply management. In addition, a formal review of the sales forecasting process was completed and suggestions made for improvement. Advised senior supply chain personnel on short and long term logistics strategy.

Rainbow Shops

Helped this clothing retailer with over 1000 stores in the U.S., Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands develop Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and evaluate responses to select the appropriate parcel, LTL and international carriers. Also aided in carrier negotiations.

SAP

For this global software provider, developed a strategy to address the needs of the logistics provider industry including third party logistics companies, all transportation carriers, and supply chain packaging and equipment providers.  This included an in-depth review of all players in the industry and opportunities across the market sectors.

Sony Australia
We completed an analysis of Sony Australia's current returns process to determine the value of implementing an Internet-based returns software solution.

The Sports Authority

We completed a supply chain strategy assessment to determine the optimal areas of investment. This assessment included distribution operations, transportation, and inventory control.

Tremco Group

Helped this billion dollar producer of industrial products develop a robust supply chain strategy as they look to combine their supply chain operations across three major divisions. Projects entail team supply chain training, customer segmentation based on logistics needs, and distribution network modeling.
